The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) enables real-time monitoring of equipment operating status, and adaptive control systems automatically adjust parameters based on water quality changes, significantly improving treatment efficiency and reducing energy consumption. The use of new environmentally friendly materials extends equipment life and reduces chemical dosage, aligning with the trend of green and low-carbon development.

 

Industry challenges primarily focus on high-salinity wastewater treatment and the removal of emerging pollutants. Existing equipment technology still requires further breakthroughs to address the need for heavy metal complex wastewater generated by the electronics industry and viral inactivation in medical wastewater. Future developments in water treatment equipment will prioritize multi-technology integration and scenario-based solution design, using modular combinations to meet the needs of users of varying sizes.

 

As a key link in the environmental protection industry chain, improved water treatment equipment performance is directly linked to water resource recycling rates. Industry participants must continue to increase R&D investment to optimize equipment economics while ensuring treatment effectiveness, providing solid technical support for building a water-efficient society.
